Se stai restaurando la tua auto d’epoca e sei arrivato alla scelta della moquette, di certo ti starai chiedendo quale utilizzare e soprattutto quale è quella che rispetta l’originalità della tua macchina! Ovviamente la risposta varia di macchina in macchina! Il fondo in moquette può infatti essere prodotto il moquette in lana o in quella rekord. La prima cosa da fare è controllare il vecchio tappeto, quello originale che montava la macchina. La seconda cosa è scattare qualche foto e mandarla ad Elvezio! Sotto puoi vedere la foto della moquette in lana nel colore grigio, ben più costosa di quella rekord, ma necessaria per mantenere l’originalità di alcune auto come la A.R. Giulietta Sprint e la Spider e tutte le auto prodotte prima e negli anni ’50 fino ai primi anni ’60.
If you are restoring your classic car and you are about to choose the carpet and you do not know what to buy, than read this post! Here a tip: the best way to understand if your car needs a wool carpet or a “rekord” carpet is to check the old original carpet if you still have it. The first thing to do after this is to take some pics and send them to Elvezio! At this point you need to know that the wool carpet is more expensive that the so called “rekord”, which is an acrylic carpet. The classic cars before 1960 had the wool carpet for sure, after the first years of the 60s it’s easy to find also the acrylic carpet on the cars. Today on the market you might find the two options for some cars. Make sure you remember that for some cars wool carpet means originality, for some others “rekord” carpet is the right choice.

To answer to a question of one of our German customers, I am posting some pics of the front bonnet rubber mat for Fiat 600. Many of you might have the same question and the best way to find the answer is to give a look to this pictures. Like on the original rubber mat, the indication related the battery and the brake solution are printed on the rubber. The shape of this rubber mat is like the original and the pattern too. Ecco i colori del PVC utilizzati per la produzione della capote con lunotto elettro-saldato per la Fiat 500 N del 1957. Come avevamo scritto nel post precedente, i colori sono i seguenti: nero, beige, bordeaux scuro che sembra quasi marrone, blu scuro, verde scuro e nutria (colore definibile tra un grigio e un marrone). Ve li mostriamo molto volentieri così da lasciare a voi la scelta del colore con la consapevolezza di quale siano le tonalità di colore. La foto sopra rappresenta molto bene i colori.
